About Us

Top Section

The Top Section is located above the lock and accommodates both cruisers and narrowboats.   Each mooring has a fixed jetty and similarly to the back stream, craft tend to use rising cleats to ensure boats rise and fall during higher water in the winter months.

There are a number of Chalets set back from the bank, for which there is a waiting list, sometimes used by members who no longer boat.

Riverside Bank

The riverside moorings situated below the lock, offer splendid views across the valley.  They have grass banks and many moorers have established decking to enhance their mooring and to provide a place to enjoy the view.
